WCG to host wetland site tours

WCG has organised a wetland site tour designed for Councillors, Executives and Senior Water Engineers. The tour provides an opportunity for particpants to talk to experts and to examine a range of high performing systems designed to harness natural processes to provide reliable, high performance and low cost sewage treatment.

The tour will visit the award winning West Byron STP which has a new generation constructed wetland and innovative reuse system followed by South Lismore STP which has a trickling filter, pond and a WCG constructed wetland system that is outperforming the conventional upgraded East Lismore BNR Treatment Plant.
