WCG design, build and operate integrated wetland systems that optimise natural biological, chemical and physical processes to remove, treat and reduce contaminants from polluted water.

WCG Wetland functions include:

  • Treatment of solids, nutrients, heavy metals, endocrine disrupters, etc
  • pH buffering
  • Water for environmental flows and reuse
  • Biodiversity – diverse habitats
  • Site regeneration

Independent EPA water-quality monitoring data from rigorous weekly testing at all sites confirms the reliability and performance of the WCG wastewater treatment system. It is this detailed and immediate feedback that has provided WCG the insight into managing its system for performance and reliability.

WCG provides treatment and reuse projects for the following waste streams:

  • Stormwater
  • Sewage
  • Industrial wastewater
  • Mine wastewater

WCG’s system increases treatment performance reliability and because it is constructed with natural materials it dramatically reduces upfront and ongoing costs and reduces the need for greenhouse gas intensive resources such as steel, concrete, electricity and chemicals.

The system is flexible and can augment existing treatment systems that are at capacity or underperforming.
